This blog is dedicated to book reviews, news concerning the preservation of intellectual freedom, and whatever other library-related thoughts I should wish to share with you lovely folk.
About Me:
I hold a BA in English literature from Illinois College and an MS in library and information science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During the day I supervise book digitization for the local satellite of Internet Archive. In the evening I am a freelance research assistant and copy editor. For more information, you can look me up on LinkedIn.
The title for this blog is taken from a wonderful tote bag that says, “Read Irresponsibly.” The tote bag was once upon a time available from the lovely folks at Unshelved but, alas, it is no longer available. The phrase is now available on a shirt, however! The variation of the phrase is used with permission from Gene Ambaum, the author of the Unshelved comic.
